Overview
Dailywell is a responsive web app that helps people track their self-care routines, daily habits and the relationship between food and how they feel afterwards. Users can define their own habits, log meals in their own words, record symptoms and see possible patterns over time - in English, Russian and French.
The Challenge
Most health and habit apps rely on streaks, calorie counting and pressure. The challenge was to design something that feels supportive instead of demanding - a tool people want to come back to, without guilt. At the same time, the app had to handle sensitive personal data and present food and symptom correlations carefully - as observations, never diagnoses. The system also had to work equally well on desktop and mobile. Routines, meals, symptoms and progress over time add up to a lot of information, and a phone screen leaves little room for it. The challenge was to keep everything readable and easy to reach on both - dense and efficient on a large screen, calm and single-column on a small one - without hiding anything important.
The Solution

Simple check-offs for small self-care habits, with patterns building quietly day by day.

Meals written in natural language, with each food saved as its own item with verified properties.
Symptoms & patterns
Logging how you felt afterwards and surfacing possible associations through calm, visual insights.

Lessons Learned
Designing and building Dailywell end-to-end showed me how much tone matters in product design - soft language, calm visuals and no pressure can make a tool feel genuinely helpful.
